Visiting

GKN Hydrogen 07.09.
At 6:30 pm Uhr Arieshof San Lorenzo - Departure Fiera Bolzano at 5:15 pm

The Arieshof was realised as a project for a sustainable future by the Gröner Group. In a unique way, the comfort of a hotel is combined with the rustic atmosphere of an organic farm. Sustainability is not only reflected in the innovative energy concept and organic farming method, but also in the social component of the project, which in the future will offer job training for socially disadvantaged workers and various projects for children and young people.

GKN Hydrogen is responsible for the implementation of the hydrogen storage system which, in combination with other technologies, will make the company almost self-sufficient and climate-neutral. The system produces green hydrogen from renewable energy sources in St. Lorenzen and stores it compactly and leak-free in metal hydrides for long periods of time.

The excursion offers an insight into future-oriented sustainable energy concepts in a relaxed atmosphere.
