INTRODUCING
Georg Kaser is a retired professor for Climate and Cryospheric Research at the University of Innsbruck. He is an expert in tropical glaciology and has served as Lead Author and as Review Editor in 3 consecutive IPCC Assessement cycles since 2004.
He was the Dean of the Faculty of Geo- and Atmospheric Sciences between 2015 and 2021 and is presently a Vice President of the Austrian Science Fund FWF.
